Feeling the texture of her skin at the point

where it meets the leather of her boot

My hands slick with soap and water that

been warmed by the friction of rubbing her leather.

Feeling the small grain of sand against her skin

carried from the leather, changes texture,

the single grain stands out pricking her skin

She re-act, head roles, fingers tense, hips curl

toward my breath in sync to her sigh

elegance of the moment passes     my hand fight

back to the leather of the boot and

pull the dirt, soap, water back to the ground
